Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Here is how you know I have had a stroke.
Forgetting stuff is part of getting old. Forgetting new stuff is a bad sign, but forgetting old is somehow worse, in a social sense, but its the constant new stuff gone that sells that forgetting disease (edit and add later).
Sometimes there is old stuff we would rather forget but we treasure the old stuff we want to remember, we constantly remind ourselves of, the stuff that nothing can take away.
And then it is gone.
I used to tell my girls that my French was impeccable and then went on to excoriate any semblance of sense in that fine, if verbose, language.
The spelling (in French) makes no sense ( in ANY other language) so I leave you to translate, yesterday, how are you? Why not?
Or something equally nonsensical. I forget.
