15 interceptions in a season still has the record, by Garney. In a 16 game season. And you were avoided like the plague. An interception was a rarer thing in a non passing game.
Think about that. Byron is incredible, and so was Garney, who is in his seventies, so a direct competition is rigged from the beginning
